Plaids are always a Fall/Winter style go-to, but what I love most about plaids is that they are a year-round trend that can be dressed up or dressed down. So shop your closet...or your boyfriends, and dig deep for your plaid shirts. To add a little luxe to your humble plaids channel your inner Rachel Zoe and add a faux fur topper to create contrast and drama to your ensemble. Are you mad for plaid this Fall season???

{sunday bloody sunday}

The weekends are somewhat schizophrenic but the slow-down of Sunday always seems to get me down. In all honestly, I hate Sunday's like Garfield hates Monday's, so in order to escape my Sunday evening blues I took a stroll to the sunny Mission debuting my playful weekend outfit. I wasn't up for a full on bold primary color fest so I paired my crayola-colored denim with a neutral blouse and introduced this somber green military jacket for a softer, simple and completely comfy Sunday ensemble...

This season I am obsessing over Electric Pink. Hot pink is the Navy Blue of Spring/Summer 2011 so all you Pink lovers rejoice! The modern way to wear Pink is intentionally simplistic. If you're not ready for a full Pink commitment try to accessorize with a pop of Pink on your lips, in a scarf or if you're ever so daring brighten up any neutral outfit with Hot Pink flats. I'm loving Belle by Sigerson Morrison hot pink suede flats. Pink about it...
